I recall running Opus (or maybe the predecessor whose name escapes me) under DESQview on my lousy XT clone. I don’t recall it being crashy but it certainly didn’t have enough horsepower to handle the BBS software and an interactive DOS wind

I did the same- replaced an Ender with an A1. Unfortunately, I’ve had it 10 days and have yet to be able to print anything. Won’t calibrate and cannot update firmware. Seems like a commonly reported issue but tech support is still bumbling

It always shocked me that isn’t the way for all. When I was on FB, I only friended people that I “knew” in real-life. I guess that’s why I only had a handful of friends :)

Is it safe to assume that future ASi CPUs for desktops will have just Firestorm cores and no Icestorm, which should further increase MT performance? I know Apple was trying to get to market quickly, but I fail to understand why we need Ices

+1 I am quite comfortable dropping to a terminal to run `ag` but this shouldn’t be necessary. Such wasted potential in a GUI file manager and seemingly no chance it’ll ever be improved.

Sadly, the Archer C7 cannot exceed 60Mbit/s without hardware offload when running OpenWRT. I had to replace mine with a Ubiquiti wireless access point and a dedicated pfSense box.

I used to hand roll my own tiny VMware VMs using Busybox and uclibc. It was very tedious and time consuming, but I was able to create VMs that were less than 10MB when compressed and virtual disks of whatever desired size when uncompressed
