Friggin foursquare! We'd voluntarily tell the world exactly where we were at any given time (and where we weren't - at our homes).

You're missing quite a bit of understanding here. First, I think the biggest concern is young men, who maybe haven't even had the chance to develop these social skills because they are born with the internet. Second, pick-up type

I'm also the complete opposite of the ADHD types who forget things, are late, miss details, etc. I'm pretty sure that happened because I subconsciously developed a whole series of tactics and systems to make life less challenging

May I suggest not downvoting this into oblivion? We need to shine a light on this type of thinking, as it is representative of many others towards ADHDers (including many ADHDers themselves...). I have this wrestling match internally on the

"I am not my thoughts." Or, as I prefer, "these thoughts are not mine." Experience that over and over again and everything gets a little easier, a little clearer. That's when the detachment from thoughts begins.

Wouldn't it be naive to ignore context and imprudent to dismiss lessons available in this time? You can have compassion for someone AND attempt to help them learn from struggles and correct poor choices.

Your post equates "schooling" with "knowledge." If that's the context, then I'd take experience + attitude > knowledge every single day of the week. If "knowledge" includes schooling + work experie

Before thinking, things are as they are. After thinking, things are as I make them to be. Before thinking, something can be experienced. After thinking, it’s all a story. That's what meditation will eventually unearth for you. Through

Reading as a reader is kinda different than reading as a writer. Different mind states. As a reader I'm getting lost in a story, not picking up on writing styles and patterns. You're not wrong. Just need the caveat of reading with
