- nullbio 13d agoExactly. OAI didn't bury themselves. They didn't have to do anything special for this, they just had to let Anthropic be Anthropic and sit on the sidelines.
- K0balt 13d agoThis. Anthropic made at least some token effort to imagine a future where AI and humans cooperate in a constructive way and AI is not used to harm people intentionally. They learned their lesson.

- csharpminor 9d agoOh yes Department of Defense is much less disgusting. Actually, why not just rename it to Ministry of Peace? We can call it Minipax for short.

- K0balt 12d agoI did say “token effort” to “imagine” which is pretty far from “real effort“ to “achieve”.
