  To hopefully make things clear: their question was an attempt to lead you to your own answer, whatever it may be. Why do we care about what people said before? The same question applies to your own question now, why does it matter? It apparently does matter, so perhaps it did matter, so perhaps it still does. Else why even bother asking now.
