- ryuker16 10y agoHotels ironically own some airbnb chains(Marriott runs a few floors in my building).
- joshuak 10y agoNot taking a position here, but just to answer the question on the face of it. Yes, AirBnB is in the same market as hotels. The market is short term rental property, not property management services. Supply chain is how one obtains inventory of product to sell into a market, it does not define what the market is. Owning and managing real estate that can be resold as a short term rental is just one supply chain solution to sell into the market. AirBnB uses a different one.
