I agree there are many out there using fake outrage for personal gain and ladder climbing. In this case DHH's frat club behavior was publicly called out. Instead of accepting responsibility he called timeout to cover his own behind. 37

Employees came forward that 37 kept a list of "funny" customer names - some offensive and racist. Instead of fixing the problem Fried and DHH banned employees talking about it. Later it came out DHH was a contributor to the list.

I wonder participating in ISS was a mistake for Japan. It sucked up most of Japan's space program budget with very little to show for.

For those interested in a no-code solution, I was able to do something similar in Figma with help of some plugins: 1. Use Mapcrate plugin to pull in OSM layers as vector layers: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin&#x

Tim Sweeney could lead by example and remove Unreal royalty fees and make his app store free for all. There's no freedom fighter here. Just another greedy troll.

It's insane how many companies went down the "full self driving by 2020" rabbit hole.

I noticed many inoperable chargepoint chargers are due to the broken plug clip - it's a plastic clip that snaps easily when exposed to weather. It's truly poor design and even worse maintenance.

If you are interested in making map art, there's a Figma plugin that can pull map data as vector: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1251030017228239072

Does the LLM run on device or in cloud. Can't find any info on the website but I assume device that size everything runs in the backend?

Yes it's in the video. Part of the pitch is "no bluetooth just plugs into your charging port".

I have a feeling this is going to get bent in my pocket and damage the charging port. A desk stand with integrated keyboard would have been better.

Why is there a 300m^2 footprint limit if the sub-models are dynamically loaded. Is this constrained by training, rasterizing, or both?

Things are moving so fast it's hard to keep track. Is nerf still a worthy avenue or is GS + meshing the way to go.

There were some rumors in the beginning that Adam D'Angelo used similar tactics to push out Quora cofounders. I thought it was too wild to be true.
