The author is is almost exactly the exact opposite of the ideal customer for any startup. He is a venture capitalist and an ad man. He is in the business of buying the startup instead of buying from the startup. He sees orders of magnitudes

Did the speedup of script execution have other costs? One would imagine that using Clojurescript would incur some other costs somewhere. This feels like a free lunch somehow.

The signup flow was really well done. A minor nitpick: put the social buttons at the bottom of the model after the (see sample -> signup -> congrats) process. I'm excited to get these emails!

I have no problem shelling out the money for the (student) license. I've worked at Wolfram and I could probably swing a free license anyway. There are already a variety of clones out there that can do some of what Mathematica already does.
