Performance actually seems to be much better in the new version! My standard test is to open a split-screen tmux session and try scrolling man pages.. New version doesn't jump around the page.

One upside of this is that it looks like they're really pushing the one-click installs. It isn't apt or yum, but it's certainly better than what Windows has now..

Looks like it's fixed in cyanogenmod, at least on my phone. The app clocksync can show you how off you are.

Same here... but mostly just brings back the feeling of dread when I heard about the lawsuits :) Hard drive failure the week the RIAA scanned the network == lucky break for broke college student

Can someone with experience point out the major gnome vs xfce differences? Other than performance, I haven't really had too much of an issue with that.
