Deet is benign to humans. Lots of studies on it since it was invented to protect those building the Panama Canal. You can also build bat houses. Bats feed almost exclusively on mosquitos. They eat more than their own body weight in them. Th

It burns away when the metal is melted. Not having glass recycling infrastructure supports p&t's point.

The individual should be sovereign over the self. You're fine needing permission to live. I'm not. I was clear about treating conditions the patients had for years. You straw manned again. You must have a conflict of interest. M

Perhaps now we can start to allow patients to treat themselves? why should I need a doctor's permission to but insulin I know for a fact I need to live?

This is practically impossible advice. Hero engineers can't stand sitting back watching things fail because no one else on the team cares enough to succeed. For the hero, either the project succeeds or fails. Step up! But non heros in

Inflation is by design. Currency derives from current, meaning: to flow. Currency is not meant to be a store of value. We don't want people to horde currency. Bitcoin just misses the point of being a currency all together.

Bitcoin was designed to eliminate the human influence that devalues fiat currency. This war proves bit coin has failed in that regard.

Imagine if you distributed gains according to contribution. In our system capital is disproportionately rewarded. IMO, carried interest should be rewarded less than labor. I mean really, if you're just sitting there drawing interest o

Why do we continue to debate climate change focusing on centuries old data when the carbon cycle takes hundreds of millions of years? Any data we've collected amounts to less than a rounding error.
