In addition to the other recommendations, I always suggest Kubie ( https://github.com/sbstp/kubie ). The nice thing about Kubie is that it spawns a new shell when you select a kubeconfig, meaning selecting a Kubernetes

You can map something like cmd+shift+f to open the entire buffer in your default text editor, this has been sufficient for a lot of folks - myself included - while we wait for native scrollback search to land.
