I have a Vizio TV that was advertised as a Chromecast TV, and I got it because of that. It was HDMI and Chromecast only. A few years later they did a silent update that added apps and generally made the UI much slower. I mainly use it with

I haven't used it in years, but when I was first using Linux I used Gentoo for a long time. Building Gentoo from scratch really helped me learn a lot and probably more quickly than dual-booting a system like I had been. I'll alway

I have firstnamelastname@gmail.com and it surprises me how many other people have my same name. I get so much unintended mail, usually to firstname.lastname at gmail. I have found that in a lot of cases they have forgotten a middle initial.

Another parent in my kid's Cub Scout pack told me about this a few years ago. It's been really cool to use on camping trips, and lately I've been using it while walking the dog. There's a lot more different types of bird

It think it's been changed, but I believe the Transformers wiki on Fandom started out as a copy of the superior [TFWiki]( https://tfwiki.net ). TFWiki has been referenced by many official creators and Hasbro designers themsel

I read almost all of the Lord of the Rings trilogy on a Windows Mobile phone in the 2000s. They were a great tool for the time, and I much preferred them to the Blackberrys that were more popular with many of my coworkers.

There are Mac users like myself that don't have a trackpad or touchpad. After trying the Magic Mouse when I got my Mini I reverted back to my 20 year old Microsoft optical mouse. I long for the Windows style of app switching where you

Growing up in the 80s in the southern US we had earthquake drills and tornado drills. I feel lucky that those were the biggest threats I felt as a child.

Correct, but also with 1, there is a way to embed chapters into a mp3 file that's a part of the ID3 standard. We use Forecast ( https://overcast.fm/forecast ) to do it. I've found that most podcast applications eith

Compared to other Audiogram tools I've used, this is really easy. Processing time is a bit long, but I did test it with a 2 hour podcast. I have a couple feature suggestions that I think would be really helpful to podcast producers. Ou

That's funny, I worked for a school district about 10 years ago and our IT director was also the transportation director. He knew nothing about IT but I guess they had to give the role to someone at one point and it was him. I think I

Same. The ones that surprise me are the credit card information or cell phone plans. I was able to contact the phone company and tell them to remove my address, but the credit card was an exercise in frustration. You can't get through
