For iOS, can't you just wrap your web application in a thin native app layer that provides the push functionality?

Is there a reason that the web is not a target of react native? It seems somewhat insane to have a cross platform approach and leave out the biggest platform of all, the web. Or - looking at it the other way round - what approaches are ther

Even if the app had it in their privacy policy, that would not mean it is legal to send your data to Facebook. GDPR requires the users consent to do so. Having a statement in a privacy policy is imho not enough to qualify as consent.

I am in Europe, so by law (GDPR) I have the right to make them delete all of this data. How do I do so? Also, I never consented to this being collected. How can their practice of collecting this type of data be GDPR compliant?

At what point are video and sound getting out of sync? At 12:50 the policeman slams shut the door of her car and it is in sync with the audio. At 25:55 the same door gots slammed, but no sound is to be heard. Maybe because the policeman is

You wish poverty on millions? How much does Greece have to pay per year? I think it's something like $5bn? AFAIK they have a GDP of $300bn and $100bn of that are converted into taxes. Why would paying $5bn result in poverty o

Greece has tax incomes of what, $100bn a year? Why do you say they cannot repay their debts? I don't know the numbers, but I guess it is less then $10bn per year they have to pay.

Meanwhile people sleep on the streets in Greece, from children to pensioners. GDP in Greece is $18k per capita. Why do they sleep on the street? Where do people in Slovakia sleep? They have only $16k per capita. I have friend

Pacta sunt servanda - contracts must be adhered to. Greece has to pay back its debt. You can philosophize all you want. There is no way around it.

The question is if one should "fix" this at all. If you change the behavior from "foreign keys do not activate triggers" to "foreign keys activate triggers", everyone who uses triggers will have to audit their

Giving an app full internet access is still too much for me. I wonder why Android does not implement a permission to access a specific domain. A Facebook app that has access to facebook.com would be fine with me.

Without a definition of "succeed", this cannot be argued against or agreed to. Like every other language, Go will be used by some people and not used by other people.

How about Linux on the new MacBook? It's a nice machine and my old lenovo looks a bit "unhipsterish" when I work in a cafe. Also it's heavier. But I live in Linux, so I would have to be sure it works.

I run a bunch of websites. Each has over 100,000 visitors per month. Most are pretty old, look like complete trash and are a nightmare to use on small screens. Over the last months, from time to time I redesigned one of them. Make them look
