I don't have much insight into spark but I've been using Dataflow/beam for ETL. Been a pretty good experience. follows the style of spinning up compute to process as needed then shutdown.

yeah, 72k (+15k bonus) is what I make as entry level data engineer in Arkansas. It's underpaid for the industry but twice the median pay in my city.

I believe one came out recently, I saw it on GitHub a few days ago. It mainly did landscape and searched for similar images then combined them to form a new one. It also supported image manipulation, eg turning a brown square purse into a g
