I agree on the idea, but where to draw the line? A direct report is definitely a bad idea, but what if it's someone who reports to one of your reports? Or someone who report to another manager? etc. At some point it should become ok. C

I think the parent meant that looking at raw numbers isn't enough to get a good idea of if a situation is bad or not. Since China is so big anything they'll do will affect a huge number of people, even if it's not excessive.

A funny trick is to ask this question but first give the candidate an infinite amount of eggs. Once he succeeds, ask the question with only 2 eggs. That might explain the binary search answer.

Online voting seems like such a bad idea to me. If people want convenience couldn't voting by post be a good compromise? Sure you still have to bring your letter to the post office but that's a more mild inconvenience and it seems
