I find the in-video ads annoying and now they circumvent uBlock. Current strategy is to turn down the volume and scroll down to the comments / look away for 10 seconds. Ads are very irritating

It's been terrible in the last year. uBlock is not detecting Youtube ads, Twitter is blocking anonymous navigation And the examples of OP are all too accurate (Business Insider, Bloomberg, Forbes, Medium, virtually any platform).

I think the only way for Europe to become a shitshow is by continuing to add immigration. In Japan 40% of population is over 65. It's extreme case of aging. Yet they are doing perfectly fine with virtually zero immigration.
