There are in fact 3 bad guys in this transaction: the manufacturer, the merchant, and amazon. All of them knew or should have known that this is a scam. It isn't the buyers fault that amazon has no humans in the loop. Infinite, perfect

I don't think you quite understand how the unions work. -in most cases, the employer is able to fire with cause. The union keeps the employer from using layoffs as a weapon. - pay scales reward loyalty and keeps the workplace stable. -

It's actually even worse. If you look at the core counts, the 4080 12g is a 60 tier card, and the 4080 16gb is a 70 tier card. The 4090 has a much better power to cost ratio.

Could we just follow the atx spec? There is a maximum length for expansion cards, and at that end there are optional supports. These are in servers already. Just start using all that case volume to support the GPU.

It's simple, really. Cloudflare is the single root cause of the issue. All the others are not a huge issue until Cloudflare notices. It's perfectly rational and reasonable to blame the company trying to gatekeep the whole internet

I don't really want wind turbines and solar panels to cover the whole planet. I used that to calculate some numbers for canada, and we'd need about 64k average offshore wind turbines, and 3200 square kilometers of solar farms.

But the storage costs for winter are on the order of 100x the power generation. Solar does not contribute to baseload, so it's just a waste of effort, talent, and resources.
