   It's their whole business model, to convince developers that their walled garden is the only viable option. I've met a lot of newish developers that believe it too.

   If you plan to use Duplicati please pay attention to the docs around block size. We used this to back up a couple 100GB of data to S3. Recovery was going to take over 3 days to reassemble the blocks based on the default 100KB block size. Fo

   Hardly practical. Sad state of affairs when only those who can spend hours and hours protecting themselves can have any semblance of security.
