My dad worked at Lockheed and in the 80s they joked they used JIC (just in case) manufacturing. They had so many parts without a clear reason as to why they created so many.

My car people are the absolute opposite of you. Almost all of us want noise but it doesn’t have to be obnoxious. Most high end car with high end engines have switches that will control the exhaust valve.

The places I worked over 15 years ago had extensive lists of allergens. They were mostly chain or corporate, I think the mom and pop places did a little guessing. I wouldn’t trust them.

Lakes have connected rivers and streams that provide paths for fish and eggs to move around. There are human and animal activities that affect this. Your bird example and beavers causing floods could allow movement.

There’s a stream in my back yard that doesn’t hold fish over the winter because it’s too shallow/cold. A large property near me has a pond that overflows into my stream. The fish survive in the deeper waters of the pond and spring rain

Mountain lakes are completely different. There’s fish eggs being washed everywhere during rain storms. The eggs come from upstream and wash into random places.

They do it for every holiday. My kids enjoy watching the holiday ones and I’m sure they’ll like Spider-Man one too. The July 4th and Christmas ones were cool. There’s a marketing aspect to it, IIRC they usually show a recently released car.

That’s true however moving heat in the winter is much better than burning things. Gas furnaces are 80%-98% efficient, heat pumps are 300-400%.

For me the last generation, F-series, was pretty much e46 3.0. You can only iterate so many times. Neue Klasse is a bit odd but I thought the same thing about the F and G model runs. I’ll need to see it in person. BMW is dethroning Mercedes

My g05 X5 M60i is a great car, probably the best SUV I’ve ever owned. Fantastic gas mileage on long trips and more power than I need for when I don’t care. The Tesla interior was so cheap I couldn’t make the jump. The PHEV X5 50e or 550e is

The map isn’t too far off for July[1] considering how far Australia is from the Equator[2]. My area is similar to Sydney in your map. For Denver it’s the elevation that’s exposing them to more UV rays. [1] https://www.epa.gov&#x2F
