I wouldn't be surprised if it feels random because it is loaded after a network request with variable timing checks to see if you have the pro version or not.

For payroll taxes they could also just pay 7.5% less and net take-home pay would be similar for drivers. The real draw of independent contractors is the reduction in capital expenditures. They don't need to buy and service cars or pay

The difference is that for iBeacon to track devices the user has to download an app related to the beacons and give permission. MAC address tracking happens without the user giving consent.
