Yes, adding the ability to Check-In using an SMS number is on my wish list too. The SMS provider I am currently playing with allows this but not looked into it seriously yet.

No idea why you think I would rather not use my email client that is configured correctly, doesn't require I state my email address, possibly has sig file and ensure that only people with the latest and greatest browsers can contact the bus
