They are USB on the machines we use. That said, that’s not a concern to me. The machine also prints a paper tally that goes with it to verify. We used sealed bags so they can’t be messed with in transit. They tabulate the results and compar

This is great, congrats on shipping it! I like the interface but for the life of me I think I should be able to go back a period (“last week”). I think a week starts on Monday?

We've used a RPi 3B+ for a couple years as a home desktop and it's been great for general browsing, email, youtube. Velcro it to the back of a HD TV and it can sit anywhere.

From Olathe. Grew up here. Ate at that restaurant last week, even. I don't find our level of racism any different than when I travel elsewhere in the US. There are bigoted people everywhere, but most people around here just want to rai

Serious question: what would it take for a US citizen to move to Brazil and work there? I don't have any idea about the visa intricacies.

We have a lot of biotech & life science investment here, too. Our Ruby talent pool lost some talent with the Google acquisition and subsequent moving of a local company, but we're back up to 40 at our Ruby group meetings twice a month.

Swaddling is fantastic. I just used an oversized sheet after I got the hang of it. Get a toy doll and practice. Took me a couple hours to get the hang of it.

I read "I'm starting my own MBA reading club and you're not invited" [ http://www.kadavy.net/blog/posts/i-started-a-diy-mba-group-y... ] and that's where I got the idea from. Do it locally, face-to-face discussion over a lunch every X week

I love the golden dollars and I'd be ok with getting rid of paper dollars entirely because coins last a LOT longer. I'm not sure what certain uh, industries, that deal in single bills a lot would do, though.

You know, for a fresh design for my personal blog, or another take on something, $15 is great. Would I use it for client work? Uh, no. What's the worst that could happen? He gets too busy? He flames out after a couple weeks? Either way
