Yeah, do people really want no supervision on employees handling their PII or other sensitive info? I think I would be upset if I found out my info was not even being attempted to be protected while in an employees possession.

If you use "bundle exec jekyll serve" you shouldn't have too much problems locally as it just rebuilds the pages that change on every save. A minute to deploy the finished version is not terrible by any stretch for a blog IMO

Check bios settings a lot of them let you configure that time. Worth keeping for a few seconds so you can hit the appropriate key to access bios again but can certainly turn it down.

Excel is much more limited in the browser compared to the desktop app. Conditional formatting for example can not use formulas in the online version. The browser version is good but it's not at the same level as the desktop or even Goo

It actually was a major issue for Valve with TF2. It used to be you could run the game headless and have it join a server to idle farm items for you. In college my roommate and I each bought about 3 copies of the game then ran them headless
