Leaving a bad review is petty? It’s people like you that we have this problem where giving someone 3 out of 5 stars can get them kicked off the platform. It’s because of people like you who won’t honestly review and rate things, giving them

When I was in my younger 20s I thought/said some of those same things. People saying how this was the best croissant they’ve ever had and so on, while I’m rolling my eyes thinking “oh come on, this can’t even be called a croissant” sim

I disagree. I have a dietary restriction and I make it a point to explicitly call it out when I order my food, ie: “I’ll have the pasta. It’s vegetarian right?” Yet, now and then, I end up getting served something with meat. Especially now

There’s a difference between a friend “busting your balls/ovaries/whatever” and having a laugh with you vs. a 13 year old redditor calling women they don’t like Karen.

This is an absurd argument. At the very least, science can absolutely provide conclusive evidence that the world is not flat and that vaccines cannot cause autism. This isn’t a “belief.” This can be shown with clear conclusive evidence. Rel

This is the trump administration you’re talking about. The 33 year old will just pick whatever choice he thinks his boss, the idiot in the White House, will like. That’s it.

I don’t blame anyone for not knowing that ü = ue if they don’t speak German, but if you are/were one of those people who didn’t know this and just ignored the umlauts altogether (Hügelkultur -> Hugelkultur): the ü and u, ä and a, ö

I communicate with (counts) 4 people regular over Instagram DM. These are people I know IRL, people I have other means of messaging. For me, and from what I can tell some of my friends as well, I’m constantly switching between messaging app

Yes. Most people in my lab have a MacBook (Pro) where we do most of our coding, and we ssh into a Linux cluster to run most of the compute. We have desktops but these are all Windows/Linux dual boots. We all practically need to use P

> otherwise you just have an unsorted collection of links - not helpful Yeah I think this is my problem. I’m on iOS so I use Safari’s reading list feature to keep track of articles I want to read. But it’s just a dump, no organization, a

Can you all share your workflow/use cases with this and other bookmarking services? I’m geniounly curious because the way I treat bookmarks is that they are temporary links I wanna go back to, so they all end up being deleted sooner ra

I ordered a vegetarian meal from a place I wanted to try. They delivered it, the item had a big green VEGGIE sticker on it, but taking a bite my mouth was filled with meat. The only recourse I had was to use the app’s help feature and mark

My bad, I misunderstood, but I’m not sure how tips are relevant. It seems like the GP(?, the first poster in this chain) was saying that delivery works for places like Domino’s which hires and pays their own couriers a standard wage. That w

I’m not religious, but I do enjoy talking to Muslims and other religious people to learn their world views. Even though my personal beliefs are incompatible with their concept of a divine power. But people who believe in flat earth theory,

This is my problem with these efforts to get people out of their “bubble.” I am on the left end of the American political spectrum. I’d Vote Blue no matter what because the other side is too far gone, to the point where it’s not even worth
