One benefit of multiline raw string is that you can directly copy/paste a block of characters between the program and its source. Unless there are very sophisticated IDE support this proposal does not work fine in this sense.

This is my understanding: /dev/urandom is just a blind producer returning any number in some pool; /dev/random is a producer as well as an inspector, it returns the same number from the pool but it also has an extra eye

The Mini is a 2.3GHz Intel Core i7 with 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. A new MBP could have more RAM but only the highest 15' model has a matching CPU. Edit: I work from home so mobility is not really crucial.

Ask the users to download the data? Since they are about photos and videos, why not simply say "if you can provide us your Yahoo account, we will move all your data to Flickr in a private photo set"?

When Dropbox sees a dup, it does not upload the file at all and therefore you know there is a dup. If I understand correctly, Gmail always uploads the attachment. When there is a dup Google saves storage space. Users will never noticed any

Is there a limit on the number of vertices for each polygon? If no, I think there is always a way to emulate anything with a single polygon. Edit: albeit the colors.
