It's not even about not willing to spend 1$ for a random phone number. Here's a list of things that are wrong with what Google does: - If you want to read your email, you have to use app specific password. I'm ok with that. -

I absolutely agree with you. I see no need for emojis. Maybe it was fun when some IM apps started to turn text (like :-* ) into little images, but now we have software for making emojis, software for rendering emojis, thousands of utf8 code

If you use Vimium (I use Vimium-C) extension, you can select any text on the page from keyboard. Basically, you search for first few letters, then quit search and move end of your selection to the end of word (might need to do it few times)
