   You do see these cars up in South Station occasionally attached to the Regional. Ive always assumed more of a Boston -> DC routing for those. Entertain some guests, get business done etc.

   Really depends on the org you're in and what ecosystems you need to work with. Almost everything we write is Go based at Microsoft in my org.

    Postgres didn't really become the darling of SQL databases until rather recently.. i'd say the last 5-10 years. It was a clunky DB back in the day compared to MySQL.

    I use like five commands total in Git and the rest is driven through my IDE which handles everything else. People who tell me Git is hard or recommend alternate tools are living in a different world.

    How is this any different than Python or Ruby? You can access internals easily and people don't have a problem writing maintainable modular software in those languages. Not to mention just about every language offers runtime reflection
