Just yesterday I installed ConnectBot from F-Droid (free software) to access my laptop via SSH. It works just as fine as the other app. bought from the Play Store.

This is just not true. I've been using my banking apps succesfully since last year across 3 rooted cheap phones with 4 distinct custom LineageOS ROMs with just some Magisk modules.

This has been my experience as well using a degoogled ROM for the first time. I feel I got so much time back. Now I'm really using my phone and not the other way around. I prefer Session for messaging and for family I ask them to reach

You should try spectrwm, a "fork" of xmonad not written in Haskell. It effectively replaced i3wm on all my laptops.

Riotjs v2 was a breath of fresh air that endend my wait for the final version of Vue3. But alas, Riotjs v3 never got any traction and lacked any meaningful support. I finally settled on Elm and are much happier now.

Unrelated, but thank you for chezmoi, it's a clever little utility very well designed. I use it to manage many distinct Arch-based systems and soon will be moving my Ubuntu servers to it. Congratulations!
