The decisions taken by the Mozilla Corporation for the past years make them look like they've completely lost control of themselves. I don't feel like I can trust them at all. I don't want to know what they are going to pull

Sidewise... I already tried it, and it is nothing more than a bad hack... I guess we'll never get that. Firefox has worse performance than Chrome and I don't trust Mozilla, so unfortunately using Firefox is not an option for me.

That's the reason I have webgl disabled even though I'm on Windows with a supported driver. It opens a gaping security/DoS hole without any benefit (do you ever see webgl used in any website?)

For privacy purposes I hope most ISPs do this. Looks like the wet dream of adtech, to have everybody use a static IP address. No thanks.

He can run whatever OS he wants and have whatever kind of control he wants over his own hardware. Just don't expect to watch Netflix in HD.

Practically nobody runs a custom ROM or Linux in the desktop, and if you do, that's a self-inflicted wound.
