I think there's a triple point of quality-time-cost for products like that. Coffee, wine, and chocolate especially are subject to diminishing returns. Price is ~usually~ an indicator of quality, but there's an element of your time

You don't have to ban crypto. You could just ban exchanges. You can always exchange Bitcoin for cash and back, but that's a lot harder.
