Same in Germany, price went up from 25 to 45 euros, but is definitely still worth it. Their video catalogue is not all that bad either, though lacking original language (non-dubbed) films. But then again, Netflix is not available in Germany

Yes, who cares, the user decides for an eco system and that's it. I am happy with Apple, they serve my every perceived need and as long as they are not too expensive or too far behind, I am not going to change. This is mostly preaching

Completely agree, another example is the UI layered on top of a photo. UI and content should not be mixed, especially if that content is the key asset on the page and of the service.
