Tooljet IMO is the most promising of the open-source Retool competitors. It has a great UI, is easy to use, plugs into everything, and is super flexible. If you haven't checked out out lately, I highly recommend it.

"Plaid for healthcare data" looks fantastic, and I love the focus on privacy. I've used https://nomie.app/ before to log things (they have an API), and I'm looking forward to the day when all my wearable

I do the same thing, using accessibility text-to-speech, but I use Karabiner-Elements to map my caps lock key to speak. I also use the text-to-speech on iPhone to turn my articles into "podcasts", by swiping down.

I wonder why he made this decision after launching. The consequences and economics of ad-blocking are nothing new or surprising, and I'm sure he knew this while developing the app. Sounds like he was threatened or blackmailed.
