As a js newbie I have to say Meteor + React is very easy to get started in. Add in webstorm ide and I feel like I am back in .net world. I am still using 1.2.1, but I am excited about the more streamlined npm integration in 1.3.

Actually the rest of my life is going well in almost all aspects. It is really just work which I feel unhappy with. It does spills into other aspects of my life i.e. after work I lack the motivation to work my side projects.

Thanks for the comment and advice. Part of me wants to focus on the things I believe will improve processes and make life easier for everyone. But I feel like in a rut so I find it is difficult to push myself.

Buying a car requires a lot of paperwork and signing. When you finish you get a folder with all the copies and disclosures which you will file away and never remember what they were about until you want to complain about something some day.
