I look at it this way: some sites might be worth paying for, none are worth being tracked for or being eye-raped by ads. I don't know why anyone would think it is a good idea to try and make money on something no one is willing to pay

Same here until I realized there is a recaptcha. You would need to accept some frames, cookies, js, xhrs from google.com, and gstatic.com in order to generate a dungeon.

By doing so I'm basically using a browser unable to render their ads or be in tracked by their advertisers, I don't see anything wrong with that. I'd understand if they ask not to rehost their content tho.

"do not link sites with autoplay videos" should be added to the guidelines imo. When I encounter interesting articles on such anti-user sites, I don't bother browsing the site, I use a script to extract the article and rehost
