I've used React Native for a client and, whilst it was super clunky, I still enjoyed being able to write React to deploy to mobile. With React Native for Web, you can technical write code that writes to a bunch of different platforms,

I've had an AWS account manager suggest to me to use Auth0 rather than Cognito for some scenarios as well.

I am not a fan of Material UI (and especially the Material UI library for React). It looks kinda gross and it's really difficult to customise. Also, you've made a very common mistake of setting `outline: none` to your focus states

This video by Mark Dalgeish got me really thinking about design systems from a developer of view. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnV1u67_yVg

Anti-vaccination isn't exclusively an American phenomenon. It just seems like it because most commenters would be Americans or foreigners who live in bubbles. I remember in high school in Australia about a decade ago, there was one kid

I'm super loyal to the Microsoft Basic mouse. It lasts forever whereas all the Logitech M100's that I've purchased (and I've purchased a lot of them) don't last more than 6 months. Sad!

I use both Office for Mac and Windows all the time and Office for Mac is pretty reliable IMO. They pretty much have feature parity. Which features are you missing?

Where is the funding going to come from?! As a non-American, I get worried by all this funding when America is in serious debt. :(

This is just an anecdotal alternative but a lot of my Australian co-workers are eschewing all the US political turmoil and are still choosing to emigrate to America.

Tabbing through the page is kinda annoying because they've set outline: 0 on all the buttons.

I didn't realise that there might've been a pattern! A lot of the Uber drivers I talk to in Australia also claim to do accounting on the side.

Composer, the defacto package manager for PHP, uses a SAT solver. It's pretty interesting looking at the code!

I just want to raise a couple of points. It's not necessarily always true that corporate donations are simply to bribe politicians into doing their bidding (which is what I took away when I read your commend). Companies will give money

As a native English speaker, sometimes I'll read a word but since I've never heard that word read out loud, when somebody finally says it, my mind explodes because it sounds different to how I pronounced it in my mind.

Now that the US government has failed to act on climate change, it might be a good idea for US companies and individuals to take up the challenge.

Magento is pretty old school. Things like patching will be much easier in Magento 2, which uses Composer for managing dependencies.

Disappointing article. A console application isn't ASP.NET.
