I read that Len was a heavy linux user with no Windows experience. Meanwhile, the first bitcoin implementation is done on Windows for Windows. Some people may remember better this aspect.

Cannot use React UI lib with Astro such as Mantine. With Gatsby it was possible. Astro is MPA while Gatsby provided SPA-like navigation. That's why Astro is not really a replacement.
