Since it's Russian owned, a lot of malicious actors have found .ru to be a safe heaven, this is more of a security thing than anything.

I own an M1 MBA with 16GB of RAM and it's a lovely little machine. I generally do SRE work and it works out ok for that for the most part. Intellij Idea, VS Code, a terminal and a browser. Coming from an i9 16" mbp the difference

Same NUC, got two of them with 64GB of memory each, a 250GB 970 Evo NVMe, and and a TB3 10GBaseT adapter. Absolutely wonderful experience! I run ESXi 7.
