Folding at home is running out of work because of the overwhelming response. I've found that sometimes restarting the FAH client/container will trigger a new job even after being stuck in a loop for hours

There are slightly more expensive models that are 500W-1000W+. The Segway and M365 are ~350W. I had a hard time with the battery life on the Segway ES2 on hills, but am a little bit over the supported weight limit Source: own escootercartel

Pretty good. It usually comes down to the drivers available. AMD is doing good things with open source drivers, while Nvidia usually lags behind.

MSI Afterburner runs pretty well. Not sure if it is "approved" or not, but I'd assume so as MSI is an Nvidia partner.

I was looking at the GTX 980 but settled on a GTX 970. It overclocks pretty well and I put the money I saved into a new SSD :)
