I agree, they can write it from scratch and compile to web-assembly. That way they can use Electron for the UI layer. </s> (apparently needed)

If they'd just have used an Electron stack from the get-go, it would have been cross platform already

I have a residential solar installation, and the inverter makes some noise when the relays are switching between import and export. I'm not complaining - although it was indeed surprising

I think the proposition is an open-source "conversion kit". Battery, charge controller, motor controller, sensors, display, source-code, specifications, etc. Built with some sort of standard so parts are easy to swap/extend.

A high-performance, multiplayer MVP would be the first order of business. No need for art so early. Remember fy_iceworld - that did not need much art! The question is, what to build it on. Godot?

very cool concept - kind of like an offline inference model of your conscious. You could have periodic (over the wire) sync updates to your real self
