yes this is certainly a concern - it's a 100 vs ~100K type situation , but the niche area is fairly small. based on observed behavior it's quite likely that I / new employer will be turned into a scapegoat, this worries me so

thanks, it did not occur to me that they might be able to make use of NDAs in this way (forcing me to document everything discussed in case of legal action), I guess this brings up a fundamental question on where the line is between company
