Design feedback: Active tab has no contrast at all. Same with: select options, side menu. Slightly harsh but probably an easy fix! To me Neobrutalism is all about being brutally readable (or maybe that's just what I like about it)

The frameworks and tools aren't all that stable, reliable, or intentionally designed compared with what Java programmers might be used to. I don't fault anyone for trying to get off the bus.

Yep :) It's a weird way to try to save money, imo. Down the line it just leads to confusion and repeat work. They also underinvest in documentation, with the same result.
