Try Strattera (atomoxetine). It's not a stimulant - the effects are not as powerful as a stimulant but it will help. Like SSRIs it will take a few weeks to notice improvements. A primary care practitioner would have no hesitation about

I come from a background similar to yours. Touching grass didn't work for me either when I was at the stage you're at. Therapy and antidepressants did work :)

You gotta do it. The psych test is long (3-4 hours) but it's easy and worthwhile. For me, obtaining a diagnosis (finally, at age 41) was extremely helpful on its own. Remember that if you have a diagnosis, you are not obligated to medi
