   The jury has been in for a while. Humans are causing climate change. We're not going to do anything about it, future generations are just going to have to deal with it.

   I knew so many valedictorians that flunked out at the state school I went to (University of Missouri - Rolla). High school is a garbage indicator for how well you'll do in life or further education.

   If the US intervenes, they're branded as interlopers. If they don't, they're branded as inept. Seems like they're fucked either way in the eyes of the rest of the world.

   > Possibly the US would be silly enough to get in the way but many other countries certainly wouldn't, including China. As an American this is accurate and depressing.
