Been using Suunto Run for about a year. Would have switched back if it had dual-freq GPS. It makes a huge difference for more accurate pacing.

I run daily with a 13 mini easily. My shorts have a pocket in the liner that makes it trivial. I don't fully understand people that carry their phone in hand when running.

Been using Suunto Run for a year and have been happy. The thing I mostly miss is Apple Pay and Runna compatibility. I usually have my phone with me for the former, and I'll be snagging the Race 3S when it supposedly launches in Oct.

I'm not the market for it (I don't watch youtube, etc on phone), but I've seen some Samsung folds IRL and they are pretty amazing for video content. This is a gorgeous design.

Seconding this. America's Army (AA) was very popular and well liked, especially because it was free IIRC. Medal of Honor:Allied Assault is another addition to the above list. I miss Tribes

Fond memories. I remember going to the local YMCA (sub-2000) and going from DOS terminal to DOS terminal typing in (IIRC) `exec wolf3d.exe` and finding one of the few PC's that had it loaded to play it.

That's the thing. Prime video was ad free for years and then it was a $3 upcharge to remove ads all of a sudden. Absolutely enshittification. I canceled my prime membership that day.

I've been using Proton Mail and iOS (through iCloud+) for this. Almost every purchase online goes through a proxy, and once the item is delivered, the email deleted. This has a side benefit of being able to sign up to the popup modals

RetroArch seemed pretty easy to set up? Unless you're doing custom key bindings, it was relatively easy to navigate through the emulators.

FWIW we use the minis all over our place and love'em. But we pretty much only ask basic questions or use them for airplay. Sounds quality is impressive imo.

I did! I ended up buying a kit off ifixit IIRC. It was super cheap and works great! If I did it again, I would splurge for the Apple verified battery as a third party one doesn't work with the new Battery app features.

Built a scheduler with pretty much all my moment/moment-tz questions answered through ChatGPT. One of the things it excels at, crawling long lived API documentation, answers, etc.

We have the ROG NUC and absolutely love it for our living room. Not playing any crazy AAA ultra graphics games, but it's been great. If I had known this was finally releasing, I would have waited though.
