OP already explained that the partner does not see sitting at a computer as working. They have different underlying assumptions which need to be addressed. That can be hard but not worth throwing away a relationship unless one person won&#x

Most documentation is bad and seems to promote formality over usefulness. Examples go a long way. The most recent example of good docs I have come across recently is svelte.dev

We do this in work and it's not great in my opinion. There can be issues with package versions compiled to the db. It makes continuously integration harder. We do automated builds and testing in the application layer but we don't

I agree with you but set up of a new phone is pretty simple if you move Android->Android or iPhone->iPhone. Your google or apple account should sync everything

I was slightly confused by this as well but I think I got the gist. It's a chromecast interface/OS so that Google knows what you're watching on Netflix, Amazon Prime and other apps
