Linde shut down the shop that made these machines. So I'm sure they're shaking in their boots about being put in notice...

What I'd give to have someone who's Linux experience isn't using a Mac and using brew to install stuff. I'm the only one with formal Linux experience on my team and I'm the only one who doesn't have to look up

Still doesn't handle CRDs. CRDs are one of the worst things to manage in a K8s cluster.

Looks cool, but if I have to copy Epubs to it, then that severely limits it's use for me with library books. Maybe one day they'll have a version with Android on it.

What ever you have laying around is a great starting point. It all comes down to what you want to spend vs what you want to host and how you want to host it. You could build a raspberry pi docker swarm cluster and get very far. Heck, a sing

May I suggest caching/downloading your map data? Google Maps for example will allow you to cache areas. I used it when traveling cross country. Super duper valuable.

Call me when I can run Wayland and share my full screen on M$ Teams. Last time I checked it was just individual windows. Cross that hurdle and I can go back to trusting the Linux Desktop for business things.

Depends where you work. Personally, I will think it is odd, then move on. But your HR department may have a different view. If it is a personal slack, then have fun! I'm a big fan of the rainbow thumbs up because I like rainbows.

Been rebuilding my music library from my sailing the high seas days when I did not have money. CDs sound really good. Some much better than streaming Spotify. Glad I own the media. A buddy was listening to an Audiobook on Spotify, paused it

I use a Mac for work. I've gone from "eww God no" to, "Meh, it is fine minus the keyboard." That is about how all these exercises have gone for me over the years. It becomes tolerable at best. Still hate it at worst

After 7 years, and me wanting to move off EKS since I got the job 4 years ago, we are moving to ECS (I rose to power of Lead recently, but my engineers also thought it was a great move as they're sick of all the K8s BS). The time sink

Live in Hawaii, work operates on Central Time. Wake up 4:45am, start work 5am (9am or 10am central). Make a bagel or something easy. Get drinks as needed. Get a snack before standup at 1pm central if needed. Get off at 1pm (5pm or 6pm centr

I wear waist braces at night. Switching my keyboard layout to Colemak was the #1 improvement. #2 was ditching the apple mouse and apple track pad for a track ball mouse. The braces help with cubital tunnel syndrome. It sucks. But my body co
