This disturbed me as well. The nuts and neurodivergent (there's a difference!) still exist but maybe it's not a filtering phenomenon but just the author not recognizing code switching?

Yup, too embarrassed to admit it, but this... People love me when I'm in that state, which, I guess who I am when not going through (waves arms this), so I make sure to give it to them. I tested myself and besides some extremely light

My understanding is that they're mostly fortran programs linked together with unix scripts which are run on HPCs - could the models run in a more distributed way like high quality grid computing setup? Lastly, what's the best way

In Frank Herberts Dune, the fremen walk without rhythm to avoid the great sand worms. I wonder if, not too far away from now people will begin intentionally varying their intonations and body language randomly to avoid detection...
