Another advantage of the "it's on your phone" aspect is that it follows you when you switch cars. If I use my friend's car, I still have MY system. If I rent a car for a trip, I still have MY system.

I think this is cool proof of concept. But a warning: because it stores all the data on your PDS, and (at the moment) all PDS data is public, DO NOT USE IT to store any private information. It is a huge drawback, but in the future it may be

This works for me in general. If I am procrastinating, I ask a coding agent for a small task. If it works, I have something to improve upon. If it doesn’t work, my OCD forces me to “fix it.” :D

Not only that. My brain operate differently at different times. I may find that an approach that works for me now doesn't work in a year. It doesn't mean the approach is "wrong" or that I was wrong choosing it a year ago

Yep. It sounds more like a dictation error as “fifteen” and “fifty” sound similar. No idea why this should matter in the slide production process though.

None propagation. It such a pain to constantly check for None when accessing very deep nested structures (as I had to do often with JSON data). There is a PEP for this[1] but it is currently deferred. [1]: https://peps.python.org

On my website, I set up a webhook to a Zapier “send email” zap: I have a basic contact form and a button that, in practice, does a POST to the Zapier webhook with the email content. It is not perfect, but it works for my very little volume

I am still very surprised that Apple allows this kind of CSS/plugin power. I wonder if the reason is that Obsidian is so popular among a lot of influential iOS users, that rejecting it would be a huge PR disaster. :D Anyway, it is good

One of my favourite feature of Overleaf (another cloud LaTeX Editor) is that I can use git to work on my cloud project on my local machine. It seems to me the best of both worlds.
