Been using Puma in clustered mode for almost a year now & it blows away any of the other alteratives (for our use case) by a large margin.

Found it difficult to follow once "today" got down to 1px in size. Shows us just how insignificant we are compared to time itself.

It was no surprise this was coming after the handouts at SXSW. We did an interview with Linode last month about some of their new upgrades: http://blog.serverbear.com/interview/linode/ You can also see some benchmark data from the new E5

I dunno, seems like the firing is more to seem like they are "doing the right thing" I personally don't think someone should be let go over comments that are part of a private conversation. It was fine for Adria Richards to make sexist joke

Thanks! ^_^ That is a pretty good idea, I'll pop it into our roadmap. We've got a chunk of time allocated this month to work on some stuff & that's an easy quick win :)

I've recently moved to an iPhone 5 after being on Android for a few years. I'm a heavy Gtalk user & it pains me that there's no official Google app for it on iOS - something I'd love to see.

Fairly similar performance, but almost $20 difference in price. Here's some data comparing the 1GB plans: Linode 1GB: http://serverbear.com/13-linode-1024-linode Prgmr 1GB: http://serverbear.com/1709-1024mib-prgmr-com

Ran some benchmarks, really insane IOPS on this plan. Pretty average CPU performance (they're using fairly old E5620's). http://blog.serverbear.com/post/27553311076/hi1-4xlarge-benc...

Stripping affiliate links is pretty easy, however it's pretty hard to know all the possible combinations from all the networks. Skimlinks already ignores their redirect if the link is already affiliated so I'm guessing they could just rever
