As a GraphQL consumer I rather enjoy using it over Rest. I always found myself making feature requests to backend teams before. Not anymore. Maybe less true now, but it seemed like when products had public APIs in rest, they were different

@pumpkinman - IMO in regards to business viability it’s just as valuable to see someone’s process of how they came to the conclusion as the conclusion itself

I find waze'S strong point is in dense metro areas where there are many routes to consider, like LA/OC. That's where it shines. Other than that It seems to eat a lot of battery and make my phone run hot so I stick with Google

Is it not worrisome that they only have one db server with no hot-backup or fail-over db machine? I suppose many components on that one machine are redundant - disks, cpu's... but theres got to be many points of failure in there as well rig
