Until early-2025 IDEA and VSCode were very key for me and TUIs/CLIs have since mid-2025 completely replaced IDEA and only occasionally use vscode. Mostly using vim with TUIs.

Agree. Also depends on nature of experience you want to consume/deliver. There are somethings i've slowly to come to prefer an app for, but it's been overtime.

Exactly like the Kotlin DSLs provided in TeamCity for this, atleast better than Yaml parts Another example where, aspects like linking/checking etc are being worked around Yaml limitations are in K8s CDKs.

From what I’ve seen, DSLs are one of the few products where user benefits almost always outshines customer benefits. This is where, it becomes very difficult to justify and hence almost always stay-away-from-market tails.

I would expect super admins to be able to cut or set authorisation access but not actually control that. In which case, wouldn’t super admin hijack just amount to DoSing 3rd party systems, rather than compromise?

Wouldn’t it make sense to ask them for citations than use their last/latest educational qualifications? Isn’t it possible, a sales person is aware of something better than someone having an educational degree over it, esp when selling?
